general problems of the 2007 GMC Envoy

Four problems related to suspension have been reported for the 2007 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Suspension problem

The rear of my car lowers down extremely low, just about every time I turn of the car. It has been happening for many, many, months, and it has gotten worse over time. Once I crank it up, I basically have to wait for it to rise up. I have noticed many complaints about this issue online. I know GMC knows about this issue, and they should look into corrected this issue.

2 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2015

My 2007 gms denali Envoy lowers itself independently when not be driven for about 6 hours or more. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and told that there is a leak in the rear bags. The vehicle was not repaired. I took the vehicle to an independent mechanic for a second opinion. His findings were the same and cheaper in the price to repair.

3 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/14/2015

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 GMC Envoy denali. The contact stated that the rear air suspension released independently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis. The mechanic diagnosed that the air suspension needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 68,000. 4 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 03/14/2012

The contact owns a 2007 GMC Envoy. While examinig the vehicle, the contact noticed that the rear end had fallen to the ground and would not return to its proper height. The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic, where the contact was informed that the air bags inside of the air suspension needed to be replaced. The vehicle had not been repaired. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileages were 100,000.
