Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1996 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Engine light illuminated, dealer replaced the oxygen sensor. Consumer states teh vehicle idles too fast, throttle position sensor replaced.
Consumer states the throttle position sensor had to be replaced twice.
