One problem related to anti-theft controller has been reported for the 2000 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Passlock system is triggered very easily, causing vehicle to shut down for 10 minutes. There is no override button when vehicle shuts down which in event of emergency consumer cannot start vehicle. Passlock system has failed again but the dealer does not feel it was safety concern.
