Gasoline Engine problems of the 2000 GMC Jimmy

Three problems related to gasoline engine have been reported for the 2000 GMC Jimmy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 10/19/2001

Consumer states while driving or at a complete stop vehicle cuts off, without any warning. Having total lost of power,vehicle takes a least 2-3 minutes to start back up. Nlm.

2 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 08/26/2000

Truck shuts down for no reason at different speeds.

3 Gasoline Engine problem

Failure Date: 06/10/2000

While sitting in vehicle engine revved very high. It happened when it was very hot. Three weeks later, same problem, then a third time, and a forth time engine quit at stop sign/driving down a hill, and anywhere, without any warning sign. Vehicle cut off on interstate about 6 times. Consumer felt this was very unsafe.
