Front Air Bag problems of the 2001 GMC Jimmy

1 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 04/28/2003

The vehicle was involved in a frontal collision. The vehicle flipped over and landed on its roof, and none of the air bags deployed. Ph.

2 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 03/06/2002

While traveling on highway another vehicle was in front of consumer's vehicle. To avoid vehicle, consumer pulled over to the shoulder, hit an enbankment, and went into a ditch. Upon impact, dual airbags didn't go off. Consumer sustained minor injuries.

3 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2002

While driving at 45 mph vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree head-on but none of the air bags deployed.

4 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 12/08/2001

GMC never done a investigation on vehicle in site only by phone. This was a frontal accident an neither airbag deployed.
