Exterior Rearview Mirror Problems of GMC Jimmy

There are several recalls out on my model of vehicle in which my vehicle has the same symptoms but when I run a check on the year VIN it comes back with no recalls. How can I make sure that my repairs should be covered under the recalls.

The mirror on the consumer's 1996 GMC Jimmy cracked in the pivot where the mirror adjusted in and out.

Electric outside review mirror switch shorted out on my 1997 GMC Jimmy. Although there is a recall for this problem, I was told by the dealership and GMC that my vehicle was not included in the recall (NHTSA campaign id number: 03v093000). When the switch shorted out it created a noxious burning smell that shorts create and the switch was hot. The fuse on that circuit also blew. The recall should be extended to all 1997 GMC Jimmys - not just a few.

Driverside mirrior has double vision, and it is difficult to see. Dealership is aware of problem.

Rearview mirrors exterior vibrate continually, replaced five times however due to design they continue to vibrate causing poor visibility.
