Front Air Bag Problems of GMC Jimmy

Frontal accident to my 1998 Jimmy at 35 mph. Extensive front damage to the vehicle and neither air bag deployed. No air bag codes everything was functioning properly. Both police officers agreed that with the type of accident there should have been a deployment of the airbags. Because of no deployment I was injured and had to go to the hospital to determine the extent of my injuries.

While stopping at a light consumer's vehicle was rear ended, and the standing vehicle was pushed into a vehicle head on. The air bag deployed, and caught on fire. Driver sustained severe burns to both of her arms.

While driving 30-35 mph consumer's vehicle has collided into the rear bumper of another vehicle . Upon impact, neither frontal air bag deployed. No injury was reported.

In a side collison none ofthe air bags deployed.

While traveling on highway another vehicle was in front of consumer's vehicle. To avoid vehicle, consumer pulled over to the shoulder, hit an enbankment, and went into a ditch. Upon impact, dual airbags didn't go off. Consumer sustained minor injuries.

While driving at 45 mph vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree head-on but none of the air bags deployed.

GMC never done a investigation on vehicle in site only by phone. This was a frontal accident an neither airbag deployed.

Consumer was traveling about 35mph on a side street and vehicle started shaking. Then, vehicle went out of control, and he hit a light pole ,and bounced off the pole. Upon impact, airbags didn't go off. Dealership was aware of problem.

Consumer was traveling 60mph and braking for impact. Consumer rearended another vehicle because there no where else to go. Upon impact, airbags didn't deploy.

Was driving 30mph when an object appeared in the road. Avoided object, but hit telephone pole. Upon impact with the pole, neither air bags deployed. Both driver/passenger were belted. Driver hit steering wheel & broke nose in two places. Passenger hit handle above air bag & lost some front teeth. Emergency room treatment. Vehicle was repairable.

I was struck head-on (right of vehicle center) by a drunken driver. My speed was approx 30mph and his was approx 50mph. The impact of the collision sheared off the front axle and right front tire and rolled my vehicle onto the driver's side. Neither air bag deployed.

Air bags didn't deploy and the seat belt didn't lock in the midst of an accient. Please explain.
