2005 GMC savanna with tire failure. Consumer states that the van has had three tire blow outs. He stated that the blow outs occurred on the same tire and the same spot. The consumer was told the low profile tires were not a good match for the vehicle. The consumer also stated he has experienced problems with the electronics and the wheels.

While driving at 65 mph driver heard a tire blowing out. Driver pulled off to side of road and stopped vehicle. Driver checked the tires, and noticed right rear tire blew out. Dealership was contacted.

Tire blowout. Tread is gone and in the river. Only sidewalls remain. Talked to dealer and they sent me to firestone. Firestone said it was just a tire that went flat while driving. ( dot number: vn11b1a089 tire size: lt24575r16 ).
