One problem related to wiring has been reported for the 1996 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Recall 98 v 150 001/windshield wiper wiring: windshield wipers work intermittently. Dealer/mfr's have not been notified at this time. Consumer states the solid state electronic card failed when the vehicle was one year old, the wipers stayed off and would not restart until the solid state card was taped on.
