Air Brake Wheel Speed Sensor problems of the 1997 GMC Sierra

Two problems related to air brake wheel speed sensor have been reported for the 1997 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Air Brake Wheel Speed Sensor problem

Failure Date: 03/09/2000

Front wheel speed sensors failed causing the brakes to lockup while driving down low grade resulting in the vehicle hitting a bank, turning on it's side and hitting a mail box. Nlm.

2 Air Brake Wheel Speed Sensor problem

Failure Date: 05/08/1998

Wheel speed sensor failed.
