One problem related to steering tie rod assembly has been reported for the 1998 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Driving at approximately 25 mph steering tie rod end bolts came off, causing the rod to drop, and resulting in loss of steering. Dealer will replace bolts.
