One problem related to tire has been reported for the 1998 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
During the 29 months I have owned my GMC I have had 4 flats and 2 blowouts. All of them occurred with less than 16,000 miles on the tires. Obviously there is a design flaw with the steeltex tires. (tiresize: 245/75r16)( dot number: tire size: 245/75r16 ).
