One problem related to engine belts and pulleys has been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer started vehicle up and turned wheels to go, and the wheels would not turn. Also, brakes went out. Brake was pressed down, and steering was very hard to steer. Power steering pump and serpentine belt were replaced. Shaft broke internally.
