One problem related to parking brake linkage and cable has been reported for the 2000 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While applying the brakes, the cable which was attached to the end of the brake pedal broke. The end of the cable broke off which caused the parking brake to be inoperative.
