Two problems related to air brake antilock have been reported for the 2001 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Truck exhibits failure of braking at slow speeds; pedal hard and no brake; hit building at slow speed minimal damge; truck had 38,000 miles. Took to dealer;they said knew what was wrong; changed out left front hub and speed sensor $405. 00.
The vehicles' abs brakes fails while driving at low speeds. This almost resulted in an accident. The dealership indicated that this is a common problem with this model vehicle. Please provide more details. Mr.
