One problem related to ignition module has been reported for the 2001 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer's vehicle doesn't have any tail lights to alert vehicles or traffic behind of a sudden stop or just being there. Brake lights only come on to indicate a stop. Dealer replaced the body control module, but it hasn't been corrected.
