Two problems related to cruise control have been reported for the 2002 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving with the cruise control set to 70 mph the vehicle accelerated to 90 mph without warning. The consumer stated she disengaged the cruise control, however the vehicle continued to accelerate. The vehicle was thrown into neutral in order to slow it down. Please provide additional information.
Rough idle, vehicle runs poorly. Contacted dealer. Please provide more information.
