Two problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 2003 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Left rear tire tread seperated from side wall of tire. Happened on I-25 interstate north of colorado springs, CO. Tread on tires are at 10/32nds. Tire is a firestone steel tex a/t size 245/75r16.
2003 GMC k2500 experienced tire tread separation while driving.
