One problem related to wheel rim has been reported for the 2004 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The first cap fell off the truck with only 405 miles, the others fell off soon after. All caps were replaced and soon fell off as well. One cap flew in front of an on coming vehicle almost causing a collision. The consumer stated the chrome on the rims were the problem. The consumer tried to get the dealer to replace the rims, but to no avail.
