Front Suspension Wheel Bearing problems of the 2005 GMC Sierra

Two problems related to front suspension wheel bearing have been reported for the 2005 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension Wheel Bearing problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2009

The contact owns a 2005 GMC Sierra. While driving 45 mph the left front driver side tire had begun to wobble. Moments later, the tire had suddenly locked, which caused the vehicle to come to a complete stop. A mechanic stated that the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. The current and failure mileages were 60000.

2 Front Suspension Wheel Bearing problem

Failure Date: 06/22/2008

Front driver side and passenger side wheel bearings and abs sensors went bad. I have spoke to other owners of similar vehicles and they also had trouble.
