One problem related to wheel bolts has been reported for the 2005 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The nuts on the hub caps became so hot, they blew the front driver and passenger side hub caps off. The calipers, rotors and hub caps have been replaced. The consumer was told that eh hub caps were being redesigned to withstand heat.
