Electronic Stability Control problem

I was traveling on highway 151 at 70 mph when I received a message stating stabilitrak was disabled, followed by reduced engine power message. Within seconds my truck went from 70 mph to 35 mph while on the highway with a semi-truck behind me, a car in the fast lane on my left side, and snow on the rightside shoulder. I quickly tapped my brakes and put on my right turn signal to notify to the semi-truck driver that I was quickly turning off the highway and drastically reducing my speed lower than the allowed state highway minimum speed limit. Considering the highway traffic and the speed at which my truck reduced speed in such a quick manner, it was a miracle I was not rear-ended by the semi-truck driver. This not only happened to be once on Sunday, but twice on the same day within about 20 miles from the first incident.
