general problems of the 2010 GMC Sierra

1 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 08/06/2014

Dealer states that the brake modular and plug are no good. The cost of the repair would be $1200. 00. The service traction control light would come on.

2 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2012

Driving at any speed when applying light to medium brake pedal (as if slowing to exit interstate highway) brakes begin to pulse. It feels as if its in the rear brake. Taken to dealer several times. They have replaced the shoes and drums twice. It lasts 2k miles and starts all over.

3 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2010

The contact owns a 2010 GMC Sierra hybrid (na). The contact stated that the brakes grabbed when the vehicle was coming to a stop, which made the vehicle come to an abrupt jerking stop. The contact also stated that when slowing down from higher speeds, he had to depress the brake pedal with extreme force. The dealer gave the contact a memo from the manufacturer to pump the brakes on the hybrids for a smoother stop. The failure mileage was 15 and the current mileage was approximately 2,000.
