One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 2017 GMC Sierra. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving on the highway at 70mph, a service brake assistant warning came on. The brakes at that point were extremely difficult to use and there was no way for a quick stop. Was able to get to a dealership where they had to replace the master cylinder, the booster pump, vacuum pump and tubing. Cost for the repair was over $1,200.
