Warning Light On problems of the 2010 GMC Sierra 1500

Tl-takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 GMC sierra. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle and driving the air bag warning light would remain illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to an independent mechanic or dealership for diagnoses or repairs. The contact stated received NHTSA campaign number: 16v381000 (air bags) however, the parts were not available for the recall repair. The contact also received notification from tk holdings alerting that the manufacturer takata had filed for bankruptcy. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 77,000. Aa.
