general problems of the 2014 GMC Sierra 1500

I have a scan tool and it says my brake recall is unfinished. But website says it has been fixed. My brakes are terrible and keep getting service brakes airbag and stabilitrack. The download they used when I took in for the recall was not finished.

Nhtsa campaign id 21v245000 truck is issuing a service air bag alarm, was my truck given wrong part on original recall. Purchased 2 months ago.

Air bags didn't deploy on 2 separate incidences and brakes went out last incident.

The vehicle was in a accident where someone ran a red light and my vehicle hit the in the front passenger side. My speed was around 40 to 45 mph there was no restraint with the seatbelt,airbag did not deploy and brakes didn’t work properly.

I had made a appointment to get the recalls resolved at the dealership and I made appointment and everything and they call to confirm thru out the week and then when I showed up they said they couldn’t fix it cause it was a branded title and they didn’t even offer me any other way of fixing it .

The passenger presence module does not work. The deal said if it was involved in a crash there would be a possibility the airbag on the passenger side would not go off because it can't register if someone is sitting in the seat or not.

I was in a accident I got t bone my air bag didn't deploy having to go to hospital to have surgery.

The airbag and stabilitrack lights come on and off then the door bell rings,every 3 seconds sometimes for continues 15 to 25 times while driving,started at 13331 miles. The dealer refuses to fix unless I pay for it.

When I was involved in a front impact collision the driver's airbag didn't inflate. The passenger side floorboard had smoke and gas coming from under the dash.

I temporarily had no control over the vehicle causing me to have an accident. While driving down a residential street approaching a stop sign intersection I merged into the center of st to pass a trashcan and in the process of returning to my correct position on the road I suddenly had no steering. Panicking from the loss I pressed my brakes an attempt to bring vehicle to a stop but was unsuccessful because the tires began a slide once noticing the traction loss I proceeded to release brakes and reapply in hopes of gaining traction the brief relief from brakes caused the vehicle to regain traction and while I still have no control over steering, the vehicle jerks towards the right side of the road and the brakes being reapplied the vehicle continues to slide off pavement making contact with stop sign and telephone pole.

Takata recall - my complaint is to report the lack of timeliness of repair for a manufacturer recall: #2016020003. I have contacted the dealers several times and the parts for repair are not available from the manufacturer. I am concerned about the car's safety and lack of information available on when the parts will be available.

2014 GMC sierra. Consumer writes in regards to driver airbag and pre-tensioner recall repair issues. When the consumer received a second recall notice, he called the dealer, where they informed him the work had already been performed. The consumer went to the dealer a month prior, after receiving a recall notice and the invoice stated consumer received gm campaign notice.

Took vehicle in for recall on November 1 prior to making appointment for that date. Got there on time ,service tech said they did recall on prior visit,for other recalls. I left the dealership thinking I was all set,when through my paperwork and found no evidence of this recall being repaired. Went online plugged in VIN no. And came back recall not complete.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 16v651000 (air bags, seat belts) and 16v209000 (seat belts). The dealer scheduled a repair, but when the contact arrived at the dealer, he was informed that the part was not available and the vehicle would need to be kept for 5 to 7 days. The contact would have to sign a waiver to release the vehicle. The dealer provided no accommodations for a loaner vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
