Tl the contact owns a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500. While driving 7 mph, the vehicle stalled and the service stabilitrak warning indicator illuminated. The contact moved the gear shifter into neutral and was able to coast the vehicle to the side of the road. The vehicle failed to restart. The contact called classic Chevrolet sugar land at (281) 969-4132 (located at 13115 southwest fwy, sugar land, TX 77478) and was informed to check the battery. The vehicle was restarted and was able to drive normally; however, the failure recurred three times. In addition, the air bag warning indicator illuminated and the park assistance button was completely disabled. The vehicle was taken to classic Chevrolet sugar land where it was diagnosed that the ground g218 caused a low voltage to the body control module. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided case number: 9-493000-8155. The approximate failure mileage was 91,000.
