GMC super cruise malfunction no warning before supercruise shuts off passing a car on four lane highway (super cruise enabled) super cruise shut off and truck continued heading for the center gaurd rail. (I caught it before it became an incident). Super cruise abruptly shuts off (no warning) and within a couple thousand feet it turns on. My first time using supercruise az highway 87 n bound just before rye and az highway 260 between payson and christopher creek I called my dealership but it was like uh huh ok I'll let gm know. - no support! the only indicator is on the steering wheel a red,green or yellow light. Red is off-green is active, and yellow light no service. Red light comes on and seat vibrates supercruise drops out.

Vehicle will show lane keep assist system as active but provide no intervention and allow vehicle to travel into the next lane intermittently. System will also move itself to the next lane unexpectedly when near the lane markers of the original lane. Navigation system and radio will freeze, stop working all together, and at times fully reboot, randomly while in operation. While these issues are frequent, they are intermittent. No repair suggestions by dealer or manufacturer.

Supercruise repeatedly crosses double yellow lines even with on coming traffic. Sometimes with SC active it will make an auto lane change but halfway through it will randomly swerve into either lane, or just simply turn off without warning. It started happening after a software update in may of 2025. We have provided gm and the dealership with video evidence, along with the dealership mechanic replicating the problems. Gm states that SC is operating as intended and that we are not to bring the truck in for service for that issue again. They denied buy back twice now.

My onstar is not working this is a hazard for me since the truck cannot be tracked if stolen or even worse if a accident does happen there is no way for onstar to help . My subscription is up to date and paid and now the dealer is telling me the truck has a issue with the onstar module.

El motor DE mi camioneta falló por completo empezó a hacerle unos ruidos muy fuertes dentro del motor con solo 80,000 millas ES del 2021 la compré el año pasado no llegó ni un año DE uso una camioneta que supuestamente era muy buenas estaba en el momento DE lo sucedido estaba con mi mujer y mi hijo en el auto regresábamos DE un restaurante acá en miami y la camioneta se paró DE pronto la camioneta fue inspeccionada por la garantía extendida la cual no asumió la reparación luego del problema si salieron luces amarillas y rojas en la pantalla DE mi camioneta.

1. Lane keeping assistantance: the green vehicle indicator on the dashboard will disappear and stay off while driving. When it is off, it is unsafe. 2. Parking collision warning: the front and back sensors will disappear and become nonfunctional while driving and parking. Sometimes they activate for no reason as well. 3. Both exterior mirrors: after starting the engine to drive off , both exterior mirrors will lower automatically from my setting. After the truck is started and driven off, they must be rest again.

Purchased vehicle new June 23 2023 and super cruise never worked and if engaged acted erratically . Vehicle spent over 40 days in several gm dealerships for the issue and one dealer even charged me for installing a warranty part. . Gm filled a case 9-10220813020 but were not helpful in dealing with dealers and to add insult to injury would not even reimburse me for warranty work or in any way compensate me for my time and efforts to fix the issue. Frustrated with gms indifference I traded the vehicle in March 2024.

The forward collision assist and lane keep assist are suddenly not working. This seems to be a software or eletrical issue.

Driver assist-lane keeping assist-forward collision warning-automatic emergency breaking life threatening when system fails and is intermittent . Vehicle has been said to be dangerous to drive by gm tech/can cause life threatening conditions. Fault has been confirmed by dealership. Warning lamp> "service driver assist system" Friday 3 December 2021 at approximately 21340 miles.

Randomly all electronics shut down engine stalls and lane assists wont let me turn wheel while driving in road. Normally at slow speeds. Get random warning lights that go away after seconds. When I activate a window switch all the electronics turn off and on. This happens randomly. No codes have been left to pull up when trying to solve issue. Twice with children in the car in traffic that we have almost got in a wreck due to these random issues.

The contact owns a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated while driving at undisclosed speeds, the lane departure assist warning failed to activate when the vehicle drifted out of the driving lane. The failure was intermittent. The cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to identify the cause of the failure. The contact was informed that the vehicle operated as intended. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 100.

I went and got an alignment,a day after the stabilitrak and traction control message came on. I went back to see if it could be fix it and was told it didn't come on when they test drove it. The same day it came on again, so I went to a GMC dealership. I was told my steering wheel pos sensor is bad. I was in motion on a city street,going and coming from work(happens in same exact spot on the street(s). This is my only form of transportation and what I need to do.

Within 3 months (<4000 miles) from purchase vehicle began sputtering with hesitation, and ticking noise from engine while in motion followed by multiple alerts posting on driver display. Vehicle displays loss of power, and struggles to keep up with traffic. Check engine light flashing followed by constantly staying on, service esc system activated, service parking brake, and steering assist reduced drive with caution lights all activated during this episode. Dealer worked on vehicle engine ( and completed on or around 1/08/2021), and replaced lifters, and oil control valve. On 01/13/2021 noticed that vehicles lane keep assist is now working sporadically, will not activate consistently when vehicle veers off the properly marked lanes on high-way/roads, and inconsistently alerts driver while in motion. The lane keep assist is suppose to correct steering, but this does not happen consistently. The collision alert system does not activate or work correctly. Noticed while driving that vehicles in front are not detected correctly, and informs the driver they are within safe distance (green this suddenly changes to yellow). In addition when vehicles in front apply brake, the collision alert system does not alert as it is supposed to, it stays in green even at extremely close range. Safety mechanisms don't appear to work correctly, and detects items that are not present. Noticed that vehicle detects lanes even on unmarked roads, and the front pedestrian alert system activates sporadically even if no pedestrians are in front of vehicle while driving. Concerned about safety features leading to hazardous driving conditions.

Brand new 2021 sierra at4. Keep lane assist hasn't worked since day one. Lane departure warning either. It's been to the dealer twice and still no solution. It won't turn on.
