The contact owns a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500. While driving 15 mph, the brakes failed twice. The vehicle has been to the dealer approximately 15 times since it was purchased in August of 2007. The dealer turned the rotors and changed the brakes and the seat belt assembly. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The fuel gauge failed and the bed of the vehicle separated from the frame. The engine lifters failed to function properly as well. The failure mileage was 12,000 and current mileage was 12,100.

When the passenger seat was moved the seat belt would be in the way and and the seat would get stuck on the seat belt. The passenger seat belt latch which connects the shoulder harness to the car broke off. Anyone riding in the car would be ticketed for not wearing a seat belt and no use of the seat belt with an airbag equiped. Dealership says driver side seat belt was recalled but not the passenger side.
