Had vehicle serviced at 47,000 miles and was informed I had total brake rotor failure. I was instructed by (gm file#1-420413913) to have vehicle diagnosed by a gm dealership and I did. There findings were nothing could be done by gm in assisting me with a complete set of brakes & rotors due to premature rust.
The contact owns a 2001 GMC 2500. The contact stated that while driving 20 mph the brakes failed. The vehicles was taken to a dealer who diagnose that the brake system needed to be replaced. The failure recurred 3 more times afterwards in which the brake system was replaced. The failure mileage was 3,999 and the current mileage was 22,000. The VIN was not available.
