1 Tire Valve problem

Failure Date: 11/23/2009

While towing my camping trailer on the interstate I pulled into a rest stop. Then I noticed the right rear tire was flat. Later at a garage the serviceman found the valve stem had split. This was a snap-in rubber stem. I believe the tires on a truck of this size (GMC 2500hd) and with this air pressure (80 psi rear, 55 front) should have steel clamp-in type stems.

2 Tire Valve problem

Failure Date: 05/24/2006

: the contact stated three of the four original tires have gone flat because the valve stems leak air. The vehicle was taken to the dealership and the valve stems were replaced.
