Takata recall: dealer has no idea when replacement air bags will be available for defective passenger air bag. I have requested when to expect resolution of two different dealerships in the last 12 months. No one can give me any timeline. I have been driving this vehicle since new (10 years). It would be nice to have some idea of when I can expect to drive a safe vehicle that won't blow up in my face.
Front air bag sensor part is not available. Part number 85597996 has been discontinued without a replacement. As such, I have no airbag system on my truck.
