The contact owns 2024 GMC Sierra 2500. The contact stated that while driving 25 mph and depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle decelerated and stopped independently. A dealer was contacted. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and was diagnosed with fuel pump driver control module failure. The contact was informed that the fuel pump driver control module needed to be replaced. The contact associated the failure with technical service bulletin: 24-na-139 (fuel pump driver control module stalling or no-start conditions); however, the VIN was not included in the TSB. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and informed the contact that the vehicle was under warranty. The failure mileage was 54,238.
