Three problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 1997 GMC Sonoma. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Brake pads and rotors failed.
When applying brakes the vehicle pulls to the right, afraid it will happen and hit another vehicle. Also replaced rt rotor/caliper.
Rotors out of round causing vehicle to pull.
