Seats Problems of GMC Sonoma

The vehicle is kept in a garage and when outside I use a screen protector. The dash and many other interior parts of the car are simply falling apart.

The trucks been handling fine and all of the sudden the oil pan blows out on the truck and I think it threw a rod. Which is not my fault a piece came apart or came out of the engine causing all that pressure to build up and mess it up. The vehicle was in motion not going over 60.

Passenger seat does not lock into place. Passengers seat slide forward and backward , and air back light stayed on , left turn signal light and brake don't come on.

The rail on which the seat slides has a sharp edge. On, Monday the vehicles wife cut her leg on this sharp edge. She had to have 15 stitches for the cut. The problem has been reported to the dealer or manufacturer.

The passenger seat does not lock in place at all. Seat frame, and seat tracks replaced several times without any luck. I bought this truck as a certified GMC truck with 17k miles. The passenger seat would not lock from day 1. Dealer has no idea how to fix the problem. Afraid of possible injuries/fatalities to a passenger if involved in a collision. The seat slides all the way forward, and all the way back freely, and will not lock. When repairs have been attempted, the seat stays locked for an hour or so, or until it is adjusted any amount forward or reverse. In the 11 months of ownership, it has lost $6000 in blue book value, and so I owe more than it is worth. So I am stuck with a defective truck. My next vehicle is not going to be a GMC. This is not the only complaint for this problem to NHTSA, and the dealer admits there is a problem. Need a recall badly! help!.

Passenger's side seat will not lock in place when stepping on accelerator. Seat will move. Consumer was concerned because there was no way to hold seat down. Consumer never got work orders.

Some one thier stated that they were not going to tack any action because they were on the side of the daler and no action was going to be tacken at thispoint & time.
