One problem related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch has been reported for the 1999 GMC Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While engine was on and emergency brake was not applied vehicle shifted into reverse and went backwards. Consumer tried to apply emergency brake, but was dragged until vehicle stopped. Consumer suffered injuries.
