Six problems related to differential unit have been reported for the 1999 GMC Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
For a brand new Suburban I don't feel it should be having major part problems. No safety defect listed.
Windshield cracked up middle, we've seen many GMC products with the same crack.
The entire rear end had to be replaced, the dealer said they see this quite a bit.
Every time vehicle is driven with the headlights on, headlights flicker on and go off. Vehicle has been taken to the dealership four times in a six-month period. Dealer was not able to fix the problem. Also, doors are warped/engine runs rough/replaced differential/brakes are locking up.
Rear differential leaking onto brakes, causing brake fading. Mjs.
Vehicle has defective transmission/ engine, transaxle, ring and pinion,gear/engine bearing/brake booster/ front brake pads and calipers, and suspension. Consumer feels vehicle was poorly manufactured, especially when pulling trailor or with load. Please provide further information.
