Front Seat Belt Retractor problems of the 1999 GMC Suburban

Two problems related to front seat belt retractor have been reported for the 1999 GMC Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Seat Belt Retractor problem

Failure Date: 01/13/2005

The right side seat belt will not engaged properly the seat belt failed to click in on it own. The driver has contacted the dealer for appointment. Please provide additional information.

2 Front Seat Belt Retractor problem

Failure Date: 09/09/1999

All seat belts in the rear twisted and binded when going back into retractor. Two of the belts have become inoperable. Vehicle has been taken back to the dealership 10 times. Dealership was not able to correct the problem. Please provide any further information.
