Windshield Wiper/washer Motor problems of the 1999 GMC Suburban

1 Windshield Wiper/washer Motor problem

Failure Date: 05/08/2006

: the contact stated while driving 70 mph in rainy weather, the windshield wiper motor stopped working. The wiper motor worked intermittently ever since. No warning lights were illuminated for any associated electrical defect. Neither a dealership nor the manufacturer had been notified. The contact expressed the defect should be subject to a recall due to the safety risk involved. Updated 03/15/07.

2 Windshield Wiper/washer Motor problem

Failure Date: 11/30/2004

Windshield wipers operate sporadically causing poor visibility during inclement weather. Caused a near collision with my wife and 4 children on board.

3 Windshield Wiper/washer Motor problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2002

Windshield wipers work intermittently. Jlg.

4 Windshield Wiper/washer Motor problem

While driving in the rain the windshield wiper failed sporadically causing low visibility. The consumer was told that there was a recall on the wiper motor for 1998 model but not the 1999 model.

5 Windshield Wiper/washer Motor problem

Windshield wipers were intermittently causing poor visibility during inclement weather. Dealer replaced the circuit board in the wiper motor.
