Fuel Injector Problems of GMC Suburban

We have had continuous problems with the fuel injectors. The previous owner had atleast one injector to go out. We had three more go out and then the dealership replaced the other four back in sept. 2001. Sept. 2002 # 7 injector has gone out again. After speaking with a couple of mechanics and a service manager they reported to us that they have had lot of problems with the injectors in the 1997 & some 1998 models, but mid way in 1998 gm changed the type of injectors that they were using, but they have not recalled any of the old ones with the problems.

Vehicle has been to dealer 5 times. Fuel injector gets clogged, and vehicle will stall in traffic. Dealer says additives in gasoline clogs injector. The engine stalling resulted in loss of steering power and brake failures. The manufacturer extended the warranty admitting the problem. The consumer finally turned in the vehicle to the manufacturer.

Consumer's car was pulling to right and braking to left. Took to dealer, and and they aligned front end, and did repairs on brakes and knuckles. The steering wheel wobbles when the vehicle comes to a stop. There was wind noise from right side of the vehicle. The engine idles rough due to dirty injectors. The vehicle vibrates at speeds of 80-90 mph due to bent wheel. The vehicle would not start due to a weak battery. The steering moans when turning due to failure of evo sensor on steering column.

Fuel injector failed. Yh.
