This is the second time that the vehicle has stalled at a stop. I am seriously concerned with the safety of my wife. What if this happens and she involved in a serious accident because her vehicle basically shuts off and leaves her very vulnerable? what if the vehicle stalls during driving? GMC is no help, I have called and all they say is there is no recall. I get on their website and it does not work. We have had trouble with the ignition, having to have it repaired and also the timing chain making horrible noise. The latest incident really concerns me as it may place my wife in serious danger. Please help!.
While traveling down the highway, check engine light came on and display read power steering problem. After getting off the highway and coming to a stop at a redlight, the car would not drive when the light turned green. It had no power, even though it was running and engine was idling hard and making a terrible noise. Car was towed to dealer and the fixed the cam actuator. Car drove fine for another 2,000 miles and same issued occurred. It is currently being repaired. . . Again. Will file another complaint when I know what the issue is.
I was going about 40 mph about to get on the freeway, when my car begin a loud noise, shaking, and dropped speed to about 20 mph. The dashboard said something also about no power, no matter how much I pushed the gas pedal, car would not accelarate. Instead of getting on freeway I pulled over to a gas station. I cut the car off and left off for a minute. I cut it back on and was running normal. I immediately went to the dealership where I was told there was a recall on the throttle body and they would replace for me. The problem is that no one bother to notify me, and if I had not had this problem might not had known.
