The contact owns a 2014 GMC Terrain. While driving up a hill, the vehicle rolled backwards. The contact had to slightly depress the accelerator pedal and the brake to keep the vehicle from rolling backwards. The dealer stated that the vehicle was designed to roll backwards. The contact stated that the clutch was not designed to hold. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 15,900.
