Two problems related to manifold/header/muffler/tail pipe have been reported for the 1997 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The coolant is causing a deterioration in the intake manifold gasket. The gasket becomes porous, and causes coolant to leak. The coolant is called "dex-cool".
O-rings leaking on the intake manifold.
