One problem related to steering gear box sector shaft has been reported for the 1998 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Our 98 GMC Yukon should have 2 recalls, one for the wiper motor that everything the year upto ours was made had one & ours had the same problem alll the other recalls did & we had nothing recalled on ours, the 2nd is the steering gear box owners were notified of the problem but ours the same year but not out VIN # fell in the catagory of recalls but its the same problem the others had that needed repaired.
