general problems of the 1999 GMC Yukon

Same thing as already listed. My radio, wipers and windows stopped working. The radio will randomly come on but if you try to use the wipers or roll down a window it shuts all 3 down. Found through research this is a common issue and requires the body control module to be replaced.

My windshield wipers, windows, radio and door locks will intermittently stop working. I have found several others to be experiencing the same exact problems based on several online forums I found by googling "problems with 99 Yukon denali". It seems as though replacing the body control module fixes the issue in some cases but most have no clue how to fix it. Some even say they experienced a loss of power while driving.

My security light come on and my car start for 3- 5 sec and die out. . I been reading other people have the same problem. . . We need help. . . We don't have 500-600 hundred dollar to spend for a security light. .

This weekend (Friday night) I started smelling a "burnt wire" smell. I drove to the store on Saturday morning came back home. I went to the store again Sunday morning and noticed smoke coming out of the drivers door. I immediately pulled over and called the fire dept. After going through my door and pulling off the panel, it was discovered that I had an electrical fire that started from the electric mirror control. This is the first time that this has happened and the car is currently in the shop! thanks.

While driving about any speed vehicle will stall and lose electrical power and power steering. Had taken vehicle to a technician. Technician told consumer that cause may had been with fuel injector sticking, and had happened four times, just like safety bulletin g99066b, may 2000.

Ongoing problem with vehicle not starting due to an electrical short. Vehicle been in / out of dealer shop on three occasions, and problem still occurring.

All electrical system power and steering was lost while driving. Please provide further details.
