general problems of the 1999 GMC Yukon

Four problems related to suspension have been reported for the 1999 GMC Yukon. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 10/09/1998

Vehicle experiences a vibration problem while traveling 65mph or more and it causes the vehicle to be pulled to the left, dealer has tried many solutions to remedy the problem, 3 sets of tires have been changed (different brands and sizes), steering knuckles, drive line balance, and rotations have been done and the problem still exists, possibly a suspension problem.

2 Suspension problem

Failure Date: 11/15/1996

Vehicle experiencing problem at highway speed while making right turns. Steering wheel would jerk and vehicle would wander. Dealer/manufacturer notified, and informed consumer that vehicle was not under a recall, and no service bulletin was available. Seeking help from NHTSA in this matter.

3 Suspension problem

While driving at any speed vehicle darts off to the right. Dealer can't find the cause.

4 Suspension problem

Vehicles is uneven. Left side is lower. Dealer claims that suspension is level, but body is not. They do not know what is wrong or waht to do about it. They claim it will not hurt vehicle or cause a problem when driving.
