general problems of the 2002 GMC Yukon

My vehicle is being tampered with, intentionally repairs improperly preformed steering wheels engine northstar all. Affected.

Got home around 11:30pm. At 2:30am was awaken by a honk, to find out my GMC Yukon was engulfed in flames around the hood. The vechicle was parked on our drive way doing nothing on just sitting there.

I noticed some fluid under the middle of vehicle and thought it was water but as I was heading to church Sunday night my brake peddle went all the way to the floor, was very disturbing and scary to me but was able to stop and get home safely. Next day in the daylight I check out my fluid and the brake fluid box was completely empty! took to dealership and was informed that brake lines rusted and leaking per say $1500 job to fix. Also, informed that I needed a new water pump too. I just replaced the power steering pump 2 weeks before this occurred. GMC needs to make this a recall immediately before someone gets killed.

I realize this may not seem like a safety issue; but bear with me. We have a Yukon xl GMC 2002 model. We have had the carpet replaced 3 times!! there is a defect in the carpet on this model. It sheds, not a little hand fulls. If you roll the window down "fuzz" from the carpet is flying everywhere. After discussion with anne marie executive for GMC, I learned that 2002, 2003, and soon to be 2004 carpet is like this. This will cause an accident count on it. You are so caught off guard at the flying carpet. Please just look into this matter. I received an answer of that is just the way it is and we don't have to change it.
