Tl the contact owns a 2004 GMC Yukon. While the vehicle was undergoing routine maintenance, it was discovered that the entire subframe of the vehicle was rusted and corroded. The cause of the failure was not determined. The vehicle was not repaired. King o�rouke GMC (756 smithtown bypass, smithtown, NY) was notified of the failure. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 160,000. The VIN was unknown.

2 Body problem

Failure Date: 12/19/2015

While driving down the highway the hood opened causing the driver to not be able to see. Upon investigation the welds that secure the hood latch broke loose.

3 Body problem

Failure Date: 04/01/2015

The contact owns a 2004 GMC Yukon xl 1500. The contact stated that there was extensive rust and corrosion near the front windshield area and the rear window. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and did not recommend a solution. The failure mileage was not available.

4 Body problem

Failure Date: 11/04/2014

Tl- the contact owns a 2004 GMC Yukon denali. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 mph a loud noise was heard which came from the rear of the vehicle. The contact discovered that the spear wheel that was located under the vehicle had come off and fell to the ground. While inspecting the vehicle the contact discovered that the assembly which holds the wheel to the bottom of the vehicle had failed. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no solution was offered. The failure mileage was 150,000. Jft.

5 Body problem

Failure Date: 07/07/2012

Brake hose in engine compartment developed pinhole leak due to heavy rust. Brake pedal went to the floor. Brake bleeder screws rusted solid- can't bleed lines after repairs. It appears that inferior quality metal brake lines were used that rust easily. This is a very low mileage vehicle. This is a very common problem with these trucks and gm needs to held accountable, and a recall should be issued as very serious crashes may occur.

6 Body problem

Failure Date: 03/20/2007

- the contact stated that while driving the 2004 Yukon denali at 60 mp, he began to have problems with the tires with failure mileage 65,000). The contact took rhe vehicle to the rickysmith dealership, from whom he purchased the vehicle, to have the tires replaced. The contact stated that he was continuing to have tire blowouts, as a result the rear mud flap blowingt off.
