Power Train Driveline problems of the 2004 GMC Yukon

1 Power Train Driveline problem

Failure Date: 10/10/2008

GMC Yukon xl denali -traction stability problem registers on dash and car bogs down and will not accelerate if you let up on the accelerator it will seem to improve - took car to mechanic and had wheel sensor replaced did not improve till rust build up was removed from on the splined hub it has since returned - went on line and other people have expressed similar problems but did not find any answers of dealers being able to correct - could be a potential problem which could cause rear end collisions if someone is following to close in the rear since the vehicle nearly comes to a stop.

2 Power Train Driveline problem

Failure Date: 04/07/2004

There was malfunction in the power train driveline, which resulted in the truck shifting from 2wd to 4wd by itself. The dealership has serviced the truck 3 times and replaced the 4wd switch and the transfer case. The problem still exist.
