2 Seats problem

Failure Date: 08/15/2008

The contact owns a 2004 GMC Yukon. While removing the third row seat from the vehicle, the contact noticed that a piece of the part used to properly latch the seat to the floorboard failed. Without this piece, the seat is dangerous to ride in because it is not properly secured to the floorboard. The manufacturer stated that he must purchase the whole part rather than the piece that failed. The manufacturer also stated that the repair would be at the contact's expense. The vehicle has not been repaired. The failure mileage was 54,500 and current mileage was 55,000.

3 Seats problem

Failure Date: 06/09/2008

I was releasing the third row seating and the locking mechanism broke. There is a "clamp" that locks the seats to the floor this 1/4 inch metal clamp broke in half. Now the driver's side third row seating is not able to be locked into place in order for anyone to ride there.

4 Seats problem

Failure Date: 10/12/2005

When pressing more than one drivers window control, the driver's seat occasionally moves to the full forward position forcing the driver up against the steering wheel even when the vehicle is in motion. When this happens, it is difficult to control (steer) the vehicle.
